FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital has a financial assistance program to help patients that meet eligibility criteria pay for their care.
UCVH participates in the NH Health Access Network, a statewide financial assistance program for New Hampshire residents. In addition, UCVH has a hospital-specific program for residents of our service area.
Criteria for the UCVH program considers:
• Annual gross household income
• Assets including cash and property
• Family size, and
• Town of residence
UCVH offers a discount for prompt payment if you are not covered by an insurance plan. A self pay discount will automatically be applied for those patients without insurance. We will also make arrangements to extend payments
over time if necessary.

You can make an appointment to see Patty for assistance with the application if required. BILLING
Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital outsources our patient billing services to an outside vendor, CPSI. CPSI is located in Alabama. We want our patients to be aware that statements (your bill for services) are mailed from Birmingham, and telephone calls are made from our Call Center in Mobile.
There are services offered at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital that may cause you to incur charges from other billing companies. These services include, but are not limited to, radiology (x-rays), echocardiograms, and physician services.
